Selfheal is an eye-catching groundcover that creeps between clumping grasses and flowers. Its purple flowers are highly attractive to bees and butterflies. The native subspecies in our region, Prunella vulgaris ssp. lanceolata, is distinguished by its longer leaves and more upright habit.
