Anemone acutiloba

sharp-lobed hepatica (Hepatica acutiloba)

Hepaticas are fabulous, low-growing wildflowers which signal the beginning of spring. This species' flowers emerge a bit earlier than others, with greatly variable blooms that emerge white, pink, blue or purple. Leaves are sharply lobed and display varying degrees of mottling.
