Thalictrum dioicum

early meadow rue

The flowers of early meadow rue appear at about the same time as Trillium, but provide a totally different affect. The delicate flowers lend a lacey texture to the spring garden. Though the flowers aren't in-your-face showy, they do lend a delicate textural element to the spring garden.
