Thalictrum thalictroides

rue anemone, anemonella (Anemonella thalictroides)

Until recently called Anemonella, this rue is quite different from others in the genus. These low-growers have tiny, delicate stems that produce numerous white or pink flowers. While considered by many to be ephemeral, this species will sometimes persist in leaf until very late in the season, and may rebloom sporadically.
