Viburnum lantanoides

hobblebush

Large, showy bracts lend emphasis to the true flowers. The leaves are large, rounded, toothed and turn colors ranging from yellow to red to purple (sometimes all on the same leaf) in the fall. Naked buds (meaning the buds are not covered in bud scales) provide winter interest.
