Phlox paniculata 'Jeana'

Jeana garden phlox

Garden phlox are fairly typical in New England in spite of their native range just southeast of us, but the value of those late-summer flowers for color and nectar has gardeners thoroughly convinced. With smaller and more numerous pink flowers than a typical Phlox paniculata, 'Jeana' is a recommended cultivar. Derived from a wild population found by Jeana Prewett along the Harpeth River in Tennessee, this cultivar is distinguishable by its extremely strong resistance to powdery mildew. Plant in sunny garden beds for a striking summer display.
