Orange coneflower requires little maintenance, blooms for an extended period of time, and is brightly colored with a dark eye for contrast. When planted in average to moist soil, it will form broad clumps that will benefit from occasional division. 'Little Goldstar' is a prize-winning cultivar that produces small, profuse blooms and stays low compared to the species.
