Eurybia macrophylla

big leaf aster, lumberjack toilet paper

This aster is unlike any other, with large, textural leaves, ideal for use as a groundcover in shade (or for a slightly scratchy wipe when you're stranded in the woods). This plant is quite tolerant of dry soils once established, and flowers heavily in later summer and early fall.
