This tough, resillient, cold-climate conifer hugs the ground, growing no more than 15 inches tall, with branches radiating from a central trunk to form a dense mat. 'Repanda' is a cultivar selected for its consistently low and spreading habit, and maintains good foliage color in the winter, with its needles turning a vibrant yellowish-green. This plant will tolerate a range of soil types, including clay, and can survive significant drought once established. A great option for well-draining borders, edges, slopes, and along the tops of retaining walls.
