Canada lily is a striking native flower that has been exported abroad for its ornamental value. Whorled leaves grow along the stem, giving way to branches each bearing nodding yellow to red flowers flecked with crimson. Though native to most meadows and woodland edges in New England, this beauty is susceptible to deer browsing.
