Phlox paniculata 'Robert Poore'

Robert Poor garden phlox

Garden phlox are fairly typical in New England in spite of their native range just southeast of us, but the value of those late-summer flowers for color and nectar has gardeners thoroughly convinced. 'Robert Poore' is a selection originally found in Mississippi by landscape architect Robert Poore, who admired the statuesque form and the bright magenta flowers. Though resistant to powdery mildew, we still recommend providing this species with adequate space, moisture, and sunlight for best growth.
