Smooth Solomon's Seal is an excellent, practically indestructible plant for just about any shady spot. Regardless of soil and sun characteristics, this rhizomatous species will never let you down, putting forth long, smooth, glossy leaves along its arching stem, with bell-shaped flowers dangling beneath, followed by charismatic red berries.
