Stokesia laevis 'Blue Danube'

Blue Danube Stoke's Aster

Stokesia is a low-growing aster that will flower... and flower... and flower some more. It produces broad, round flowers with a multitude of tiny petals, reminiscent of a blue dandelion. This species prefers moist, well-drained soils, but tolerates drought very well once established, and is less appealing to rabbits than others of the species.
