Tsuga canadensis

hemlock

Canadian Hemlock is common in our New England forests, but sometimes difficult to grow and keep in landscaped settings due to shallow roots and high sensitivity to sunscorch, windburn, drought, heat, and air pollution. This plant is off the market for now due to hemlock wooly-adelgid.
