Viola pedata is an undeniably cute little plant, and well named for its deeply lobed leaves that resemble a bird's foot. Tolerant of some shade and some of the driest sites, this species is capable of growing in places where few other plants will. Great for bees and butterflies; host plant for Frittilary butterflies.
