Sand false heather is a slow-growing, semi woody ground cover adapted to extremely dry conditions. It produces a short-lived cloud of yellow flowers in the summer. Although often found in sand dune habitats, sand false heather is not tolerant of salt spray or disturbance. Can be difficult to establish in gardens.
