Fringed gentian is a wet loving biennial with striking blue flowers that almost every gardener falls in love with after seeing in bloom. Fringed gentian thrives in wet, poor soils. If planted in a meadow, make sure to delay any fall mowing so these flowers have the chance to bloom.
