Lysimachia hybrida
lowland yellow-loosestrife
A native loosestrife with large yellow flowers in the summer. This plant is great in a mass in consistently moist soils. It spreads by rhizome, but is rarely aggressive enough to be considered weedy. The flowers produce floral oils instead of nectar to attract a specialist bee species.
