Mimulus ringens

Allegheny monkey-flower

Mimulus ringens has flowers similar to snap dragons that resemble tiny monkey faces, hence the common name. Great for moist meadows in full to partial sun, it will slowly spread to form a bushier appearance. A great pollinator plant that attracts bumblebees and is a larval host for butterflies.
